PITTSBURGH — It is a big matchup on Sunday for the Steelers. Not only are they trying to turn the page following last week’s loss, but it is also a big game against an AFC North rival.
There are a lot of players to keep a close eye on when the Steelers take the field Sunday for pregame warmups.
The team’s injury report came out in the last few hours.
Will Joey Porter Jr. play? The cornerback is listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week.
His injury designation was conditioning, not the back injury like it was a week ago.
Michael Pittman Jr., Jaylen Warren and Jamel Dean are also questionable.
Rico Dowdle and Gennings Dunker have both been ruled out. Dowdle did not practice all week with a toe injury.
Something else to be watching for prior to Sunday’s game is the offensive line.
Could there be changes coming?
Channel 11 spoke with rookie Max Iheanachor, who could potentially get his first start this week.
He said he feels 100 percent ready if called upon because of all the work he’s put in.
We’ll get a clearer picture when the line takes the field for those pregame warmups on Sunday.
