PITTSBURGH — A few showers are lingering this morning but will be exiting as midday approaches. It will remain humid but mostly dry this afternoon, with highs around 80 degrees.
One last line of showers and storms will cross between 6 and 10 p.m., with the primary threats being heavy rain and locally damaging wind gusts. With storms moving faster than the rain from Saturday, the flood risk is low...although it won’t take much additional rainfall to see issues in some areas.
Cooler, drier air will pour in overnight with area-wide temperatures expected to dip into the 50s by morning. Monday will feel like an early fall day with sunshine, very low humidity and a light refreshing northerly breeze.
That won’t last too long, with warmer and much more humid air returning midweek. The threat of storms will go up again by late Wednesday and into Thursday before more seasonable air returns for the end of the week.
