Terrelle Pryor, girlfriend violated lease at Heinz Lofts; company seeking the remaining rent money

PITTSBURGH — The Heinz Lofts on Pittsburgh’s North Side, where NFL player Terrelle Pryor and girlfriend Shalaya Briston got into a physical argument ending with stab wounds and arrests, says the couple violated their lease agreement and the company is now taking them to court for the remaining rent, according to TribLive.com.

A hearing on the issue is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday. If the pair does not attend, according to TribLive.com, they could automatically be forced to pay $1,827.60 plus $400 in legal fees.

The landlord/tenant complaint was filed almost two weeks after the Nov. 30 incident in which Briston allegedly stabbed Pryor during a fight, then drove him to the hospital for treatment. Briston was charged with attempted homicide. Pryor faces charges of simple assault.
