Troy Hill boy, 8, dropped off at wrong bus stop twice, forced to walk 3 miles home

TROY HILL, Pa. — A Troy Hill mother said she is frustrated after her 8-year-old son was dropped off at the wrong bus stop, two days in a row.

Nevaugh Moman said he was scared when the driver let him off at the wrong stop.

“He told me I couldn’t get off at North Catholic or he would go to jail,” Nevaugh said.

The boy’s mother said her son had to walk more than three miles home on his first day of school Monday.

“He was scared. He was upset. I was upset when I got the news. That’s not something you want to hear on the first day of school,” Lavaughn Moman said.

Moman said she switched her son to a bus with a different company, but he was again dropped off at the wrong stop Tuesday.

A company dispatcher said there was a problem with Mapquest and it will not happen again.
