VIDEO: Raccoon attacks Pittsburgh Hays bald eagle

PITTSBURGH — The Pennsylvania Game Commission’s eagle nest camera along the Monongahela River in the Hays section of Pittsburgh in Allegheny County captured an attack on the nest Wednesday night.

The video shows a raccoon attack the nest around 11:15 p.m. while the female was incubating the eggs.

Officials with the Game Commission said the eggs appear to be OK.
