MT. LEBANON, Pa. — A water main break flooded the parking lot of a Mt. Lebanon post office Sunday morning.
Water was seen gushing from beneath the pavement outside of the post office on Castle Shannon Boulevard about 11 a.m.
"We have an 8-inch line that was installed probably in the mid-60s that ruptured. Fortunately, it's only impacting one customer; we will only have the post office out of service," said Josephine Posti, of Pennsylvania American Water.
Mail and packages inside the post office were not damaged.
