FOX CHAPEL, Pa. — A water main break in Fox Chapel shut down a neighborhood road Thursday night.
Officials said the break happened around 7:30 p.m. on Valley Drive.
Fox Chapel Water Authority officials said corrosion in the line caused the break to shoot water in the air.
Neighbors said this was the second time a line broke in their neighborhood in just 18 months.
Crews worked throughout the night to fix the break. Officials said the break was repaired by 1 a.m. Thursday.
