Westminster College student killed in crash on way home for spring break

MUDDY CREEK, Pa. — A Westminster College student was killed in a crash on her way home for spring break.

Emily Hilliard, 21, was an education major  and member of Kappa Delta.

State police said she lost control of her car along Route 19 in Muddy Creek on Thursday.  She collided with another vehicle, police said.

"It is difficult to make sense of the loss," said the Rev. James Mohr.

Hilliard is from the Rochester area and went to Freedom High School.
