A Westmoreland County woman is facing charges after two kids in her care allegedly tested positive for cocaine.
Pennsylvania State Police got a ChildLine tip last month, starting the investigation with CYS, according to the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office.
The kids, ages 2 years old and 11 months old, tested positive for cocaine, the DA’s office says.
Roberta Deary, 35, of West Newton, allegedly admitted to using cocaine and crack cocaine beforehand.
Deary was arrested Wednesday. She is charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.
