Wigle Whiskey and Eat’n Park Hospitality Group have partnered to release Smiley Cookie Whiskey, bringing together two popular western Pennsylvania brands.
The new spirit coincides with the 40th anniversary of the beloved cookie.
It’s crafted by infusing a light corn whiskey with vanilla beans to mimic the flavor of a Smiley Cookie.
“At Wigle, we are always pushing the boundaries of distilling to create innovative, small-batch whiskeys that reflect the spirit of our community,” Wigle Chief Operating Officer Alex Moser said. “We are excited to bottle up the familiar flavor of Smiley Cookies in a whiskey that celebrates two hometown favorites.”
Brooks Broadhurst, senior vice president of food systems transformation at Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, is excited about making more smiles through the partnership.
“Smiley Cookies have been part of so many cherished traditions for generations of Pittsburghers and we’re excited for more memories to be made over pours of Smiley Cookie Whiskey,” Broadhurst said.
Smiley Cookie Whiskey is available for purchase at the Wigle Distillery and the Ross Park Mall Bottle Shop. Customers who purchase a 750 mL bottle at those specified retail locations receive a complimentary Smiley Cookie.
The spirit is also available online for nationwide shipping through wiglewhiskey.com and at participating Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores while supplies last.
