INDIANA TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Gibsonia woman who lost control of her SUV Thursday morning on Route 910 in Indiana Township, crashed through a barn and landed in a nearby creek died Friday.
Investigators said they aren't sure if Donna Greygor suffered a medical emergency or was driving too fast when the accident happened just before 10 a.m.
Police said Greygor, 53, was coming down Route 910 at the intersection with Cedar Run Road when she hit the corner of the Farm and Garden Nursery, went airborne and landed in a creek bed.
Tim Frank and his boss, Rob Kruljac, were inside the barn when the car slammed through the back corner. They said minutes before the crash, they were sitting at their desks right at the point of impact.
“We could hear her coming down the hill,” Frank said. “My boss and I looked at each other and knew something wasn’t right so we took cover. Seconds later, there it was.”
Police said Greygor was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
No other injuries were reported in the accident, but Frank and Kruljac said they’re fortunate to make it out unscathed.
“When I put the desk up, I said, ‘Man, it would stink if somebody lost control coming down the hill one day and took me out here,’” Frank said. “That’s why when it happened, I knew exactly what had happened.”
The incident remains under investigation.
