MONROEVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A Pittsburgh woman has been ordered to stand trial on charges she attacked her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend and other women with a sharp object and a brick at a Monroeville Chuck E. Cheese during a party for her son.
But the attorney for Lynaa Dobbins, 20, and other witnesses said there's more to the charges than meet the eye.
Witnesses have since told police the woman had scissors -- not a knife, as police charged -- and her attorney said Dobbins didn't bring the items into the Monroeville restaurant, but was instead defending herself outside the restaurant from an unspecified attack about 7:30 p.m. July 7.
Attorney Giuseppe Roselli said, "There's alcohol involved and it's just a bad, bad scene," though he declined to say whether his client was "culpable in any way."
