MONROEVILLE, Pa,None — An Apollo man said he was shocked after receiving an arrest warrant for an unpaid speeding ticket from 20 years ago.
The Monroeville magistrate's office said they noticed the unpaid ticket while cleaning out their computer database.
Matthew Petika said he pleaded guilty to the charge and paid $20 in 1992 but still owes over $145. He said he was never notified about the discrepancy.
"It's not that I can't pay the bill, but this is ridiculous. Why wasn't I notified of this a long time ago?" Petika said.
