WEXFORD — Noodles and Company abruptly closed five locations in western Pennsylvania, giving employees little notice.
Channel 11 viewers alerted us to the closures on our
. The locations in Wexford, Peters Township, Washington, Bridgeville and Monroeville were removed from the company’s website.
Employees were told Tuesday night that they were losing their jobs.
The company had said it was going to close 55 locations nationwide. Many of the locations slated to close were classified as underperforming.
The doors were locked and the signs removed from the Wexford location Wednesday.
Noodles and Company still operates locations in Cranberry, Market Square, Oakland and the South Hills.
