Passerby finds shooting victim near New Kensington Salvation Army

NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — A passerby found an unconscious shooting victim Thursday night near the New Kensington Salvation Army. The man had been shot in the chest.

Medics were called to the scene on Fifth Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. The victim died after he was taken to the hospital.

The medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 22-year-old Lorenzo Lewis, of New Kensington.

No arrests have been made.
