SOUTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — For the third straight day in a row, nearly 200 people are waking up with low water pressure or no service at all in South Fayette Township.
A third section of water line broke overnight Wednesday, just as repairs were being made to fix another section of line on Boyce Road.
Crews had just finished repairing a 36-inch water line around 1 a.m. Tuesday on the same road, before the 2nd break happened. Then as they were about to wrap up repairs on that break, a third section of line broke.
Boyce Road near Washington Pike will remain closed until further notice.
Water buffaloes are stationed at Boyce Plaza in the 2500 block of Boyce Road in Upper Saint Clair, and at a 7 Eleven on the other side of Boyce Road for those without service.
