‘Safety situation’ caused officials to close local Walmart store for a time

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A “safety situation” caused emergency and store officials to close down a local Walmart store for a short time on Sunday.

**Attention Customers** Due to a safety situation our store is currently closed. Once we are able to reopen, we will post here to keep everyone updated. Thank you, Management

Butler County 911 officials said there was “an incident” at the store. However, police, fire, and emergency services personnel were on scene according to 911 dispatchers.
