WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa.,None — Seven Springs ski resort hasn't seen much natural snow since it opened for the season, until Tuesday.

In Westmoreland County, the significant snow fall had skiers and snowboarders excited to hit the slopes.
"This is the kind of weather we pray for. This is the kind of weather we live for," said ski instructor Jonathan Gronvall.
Seven inches of snow fell in Seven Springs on Monday night. The resort was finally able to open 16 of its 33 slopes and trails.
"Our dedicated mountain crew has been making snow around the clock and we're going to open as much terrain as possible, as quickly as possible," said Seven Springs spokeswoman Anna Weltz.
