After police got involved, the man repeated the threat.
Millvale police say the suspect nailed his door shut, but they were able to get inside and take him into custody.
Channel 11 talked to a relative of the neighbors who were on the receiving end of those threats.
"The other day he took a knife to my great niece's throat, he said he's gonna kill her. So she called the cops and they put him in jail. He got out this morning and said he was going to blow them away because he was mad at them," said Barb Oswald, relative of the victim.
The 50-year-old is headed back to jail facing a number of charges including terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.
