PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police said the man who was last seen outside a popular facility has been found in Bethel Park.
Police said Nate Hoffman, 19, had gone missing Wednesday outside Highmark Sportsworks on Allegheny Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

Police said Hoffman was found safe at a Dollar General in Bethel Park and was reunited with family shortly after 7:30 p.m.

A state police helicopter flew above, blood hounds scoured the ground for hours and officers went door-to-door along East Ohio Street and checked every single hospital from Mercy to Allegheny General to Presby.
Police even brought K-9 units into several local museums, including the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and The National Aviary, searching for Hoffman.
Police also went through Community College of Allegheny County buildings, homeless shelters and multiple fast food restaurants on the North Shore.
Investigators didn’t say how Hoffman ended up in Bethel Park. They only said he was found safe before the bitter overnight temperatures set in.
