Bob Ganther’s basement keeps getting filled with sewage, and he’s getting fed up with Baldwin Borough’s response.
Ganther said his home on Brentwood Road has been flooded several times, and sewage washes in when the area sees heavy rainfall.

“Over the years, we have lose about $60,000 in furnaces, hot water heaters, all of the belongings,” he said. “Not even talking about pain and suffering.”
Ganther’s basement flooded again on Friday after days of steady rain, and the backflow preventer in his basement stopped working. He says it’s the borough’s fault it keeps happening, but he’s having a hard time getting in touch with officials.
He said the borough needs to replace the mainlinenear his house to prevent the flooding. The borough manager told Channel 11 News that they paid for the backflow preventer as well as a new lateral line to his house.
