Castle Shannon wants to make it very clear that thieves are unwelcome in their community.
Police Chief Kenneth Truver said someone has been stealing signs that say “Welcome to Castle Shannon Borough” from along the community borders for several weeks.

Signs have been stolen from the intersections of Greenridge and Connor roads; McRoberts Road and Loma Drive; Hamilton Road; and Route 88.
Truver said the thief or thieves has been carefully unfastening the signs to remove them.
