Chase adding 2 more branches and here’s where, as Pittsburgh’s newest bank pulls closer to 2021 goal

PITTSBURGH — Amid increased branch closures across the region by long-established banks, newcomer JPMorgan Chase & Co. is moving forward with new sites and pulling closer to its goal of 25 by fall 2022.

Chase (NYSE:JPM) plans branches in Robinson Township and Irwin, according to a new filing by the New York-based bank with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Chase did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The Robinson location is at Route 60 and Campbells Run Road; the Irwin site is at Caruthers Lane and Lincoln Highway in Westmoreland County, according to the filing. A spokeswoman told the Business Times in February that Chase expects to open eight more branches in the Pittsburgh area by the end of the year, which would bring the total to 22.
