PITTSBURGH — Tuition at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University is getting closer to six figures, Channel 11’s news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported.
A year at CMU will cost almost $77,000 with a recently approved 3.2 percent tuition increase for the 2020-21 school year, according to TribLIVE.
That’s well above the national average.
According to the College Board, the average tuition and fees and room and board in 2019-20 were $49,870 at private four-year colleges and $21,950 at in-state public four-year colleges.
