PITTSBURGH — The North Shore has a new investor in the collection of buildings between Heinz Field and PNC Park.
Columbus-based Continental Real Estate Companies, the development partner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates on the North Shore master plan, confirmed that it has sold off the SAP Building, a more than 180,000-square-foot office property that opened in 2019 on the last open parcel along the Allegheny River.
The international software conglomerate SAP is the anchor tenant of the property, taking in the range of 170,000 square feet in the building for what was a staff of about 600 when it moved in two years ago.
