All drug charges against former University of Pittsburgh football player and current Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd were dropped Wednesday.
The charges stemmed from a crash last year, after which vape pens were found in the car.

Investigators said Boyd’s Mercedes-Benz was involved in a crash along State Route 837 in Jefferson Hills. Boyd let his friend, Armani Ford, drive his car, according to a criminal complaint.
Investigators initially said Boyd admitted the vape pens were his, and testing revealed THC was inside them. However, in court, Ford said the pens belonged to him.
