ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — An Eat’n Park employee in Avalon has tested positive for COVID-19.
Despite that, Channel 11 News’ exchange partners at TribLIVE confirmed through a company spokesperson that the restaurant will remain open.
The employee who tested positive for the coronavirus last worked at the Avalon location on June 22, and no other employees have tested positive.
According to The Trib, company officials said the health department determined it was “unnecessary to close the restaurant” on Ohio River Boulevard.
“They have thoroughly reviewed all of our cleaning processes and are confident that our ongoing safety and cleaning procedures are providing a safe environment for guests and team members,” the spokesperson told TribLIVE.
