TURTLE CREEK, Pa. — A man is facing charges for his alleged role in a violent domestic situation that prompted a large police presence at multiple locations.
William Bowles, 38, is charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, terroristic threats and other offenses.
According to a criminal complaint, Bowles attacked his ex girlfriend Thursday morning outside of a home on Center Street in Turtle Creek.
He allegedly fired a shot into the air, in front of the victim’s cousin and the cousin’s three-year-old girl. No one was hit by the bullet, but the ex-girlfriend sustained injuries in the assault.

From there, Bowles drove off in a white vehicle, and the victim drove away separately, according to police.
The victim called for help and eventually pulled over into the parking lot of Bob’s Lounge in Wilkins Township.
We spoke with a victim there who described the intense scene.
“Everyone seemed very disheveled and worried and then more cops pulled up, a handful of cars, a little girl in the car seemed very upset, it was very concerning,” said KC Merchant.
