Incident at Robinson Mall causes panic Saturday

ROBINSON TWP., Pa. — An incident at The Mall at Robinson Saturday night caused shoppers to panic and run from the building.

Shoppers WPXI spoke with described the chaotic scene just before 7 p.m., saying a loud bang was heard. Public safety officials said no shots were reported.

A spokesperson for the mall said “an altercation occurred between two individuals and the individuals were escorted from the property without incident, but at no point did anything occur or escalate and there was no threat to others’ safety at any point.”

Robinson Township police are investigating, but have not released any information on the incident.
