Jingle Bar pop-up opens Black Friday at Original Oyster House

PITTSBURGH — The Jingle Bar pop-up will open Black Friday in the Original Oyster House’s side dining rooms.

According to a news release, the bar will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. It will feature seasonal cocktails and holiday-themed food. The Original Oyster House is located in Market Square, home to Peoples Gas Holiday Market.

“When you visit Downtown for the holiday season, we know people will want a festive holiday atmosphere to get a bite to eat and enjoy some seasonal cheer,” said Jen Grippo, owner of the Original Oyster House. “We’ve had a tradition of holiday pop up bars the last several years and really felt like if there was any year that we needed more cheer, it’s 2020!”

Here’s the cocktail menu:

• Sleigh All Day: Apple cider, Prosecco, Cinnamon
• Chocolate Scott: Dewars, Butterscotch, Hot Chocolate, Toasted Marshmallow
• Silent Night: Bombay Sapphire, Raspberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, Lemon, Honey (egg white optional)
• Russian Reindeer: Vodka, Lime, Rosemary, Cranberry reduction, ginger beer
• Hard Eggnog/Jack’s Frost: Rum, Cognac, Bourbon, Nutmeg, Vanilla, Egg
• Old Fashioned St. Nick: Bourbon, Bitters, Orange, Brown Sugar
• The Grinch: Vodka, Melon, Orange, Lemon
• Beer, wine and shots also available

The pop-up bar is partnering with Enrico Biscotti for holiday treats that will be featured on the menu.

Jingle Bar will be following all CDC, state and county health and safety guidelines and all customers will be required to order food with any purchase of alcohol.
