According to press release, the general manager of the store in Saxonburg called police to report Connor walking around the property with the sword. Troopers arrived and found him.

Connor initially complied with orders to drop the sword “that appeared to be real.” When troopers went to pick it up, he ran at them and tried to grab it. Officers then tried to physically restrain Connor and a trooper injured his hands and knees.
