Man sought in two robberies at same Moon Twp. store

The Moon Township Police Department is investigating two robberies at a Unimart in Moon Township.

The first robbery happened on Monday around 1:41 p.m. and the second robbery happened Friday around 8:04 p.m., according to a Facebook post from Moon Township Police.

During both robberies, the man displayed his gun.

Police said the man in the pictures is responsible for both robberies of the Unimart on Coraopolis Heights Road.

He's a white man, around 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall with a slender to medium build, according to police.

According to the Facebook post, police believe that the man parked a vehicle – possibly a dark gray or black SUV – on Maple Street Extension and approached the store on foot both times.

Police said the man should be considered armed and dangerous, and residents are being told to not approach him.
