PITTSBURGH — A man was stabbed Monday evening during a fight inside an apartment building in Pittsburgh’s Arlington Heights neighborhood, police said.
The incident was reported just after 5 p.m. at an apartment building along Cordell Place.
Jimmie Walker, 43, is accused of first attacking the other man with a cane before going into the kitchen and grabbing a knife, according to a criminal complaint. The other man was stabbed under one of his ears, and his head was slashed a couple times.
The other man was taken to a hospital in critical condition and underwent surgery.
Walker was also taken to a hospital to be treated for a cut to his hand. He is charged with aggravated assault, possessing instruments of crime and simple assault.
