PITTSBURGH — Frederick Collins, an informant in the Wilkinsburg mass shooting case, is facing more criminal charges.
According to a criminal complaint, Collins became enraged and threatened Judge Donna Jo McDaniel after she refused to reverse his plea back on April 26.
He was about to be sentenced on retaliation, vandalism and aggravated assault charges, and was asking the judge for new representation.

When McDaniel denied Collins' request, he interrupted her and made threats toward her and her family.
Collins was removed from the courtroom.
He's now facing additional charges including retaliation against a prosecutor or judicial official, and terroristic threats.
Channel 11 News has learned from county officials if an inmate makes such threats, their housing and security in jail may change.
Extra security will likely be afforded to the judge inside and outside of the courtroom, according to WPXI Legal Analyst Phil DiLacente. He told Channel 11's Mike Holden that includes safety measures for the purposes of travel and at home. Deputy sheriffs are responsible for that protection.
Lt. Jack Kearney with the Allegheny County Sheriff's office told Channel 11 they cannot comment on any sort of security measures.
It's not clear if Collins will still testify as a witness in the Wilkingsburg massacre case. He remains in the Allegheny County Jail.
