Medical marijuana experts were in Pittsburgh Thursday explaining how the state's newest industry will work.
The state recently approved permits for 27 dispensaries, including two in Allegheny County and one in Westmoreland.
"Obviously when you do something different, there's a roll out,” said Pittsburgh City Councilman Corey O’Conner. “And this is very informative about how this process is going to work. You can't just walk down the street and buy marijuana."

Each permit holder can open three locations.
One of them will be in Squirrel Hill.
Keystone Relief Centers plans to open on Forward Avenue in a few months.
