Multiple people arrested, warrant issued for another after incidents at Penn Hills High School

PENN HILLS, Pa. — Several people were arrested and a warrant was issued for another individual after two incidents at Penn Hills High School on Monday.

Here’s a note from the superintendent about what happened:

“A Penn Hills Police Officer who was on duty today at Penn Hills High School intervened in two incidents this afternoon. One was inside and one was outside. It is our impression that these two incidents were connected. Both times, the officer sought the support of fellow officers on duty with the municipality, and those officers arrived on scene to assist. There are no reports of serious injury; however, Penn Hills Police Department arrested various individuals who played a role in these events, and it is our understanding that a warrant has been issued for another individual who left the property.”

The details of what happened were not immediately clear.
