One injured in motorcycle crash Saturday evening

MCKEESPORT — A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in McKeesport Saturday evening.

The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Walnut Street shortly after 6 p.m.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide and Collision Reconstruction units responded after the crash between a motorcycle and a Honda Fit driven by a 71-year-old woman.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old man, suffered from head injuries and was taken to a area hospital in critical condition. The driver of the Honda was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
