PITTSBURGH — A person was killed in an early Sunday morning shooting in Pittsburgh’s Homewood West neighborhood.
A ShotSpotter alert brought police to North Dallas Avenue around 3:45 a.m. Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as Darnell Wofford, 31, of McKees Rocks.
A second man arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle, with a gunshot wound to the hand.
The investigation is ongoing.
