BRADDOCK, Pa. — Allegheny County police are asking for the public's help in an unsolved homicide in Braddock.
Police responded to a home along Talbot Avenue after 1 a.m. on June 20 for a report of a shooting.
Officers found Leryal Matthews, 21, was shot to death in bed, police said.
Police said a witness told them a man knocked on the door and yelled, “Police!”

When that witness answered the door, a man armed with a gun pushed past the witness, into the house and opened fire, police said.
Police said detectives collected evidence at the scene and are awaiting results from the crime lab.
Investigators urge anyone with information to contact Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers at 412-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous and could receive a $1,000 reward for information in the case.
