Popular Pittsburgh food truck found just hours after being stolen from parking lot

PITTSBURGH — A popular Pittsburgh food truck was found just hours after the company put on social media that it had been stolen from a West Mifflin parking lot.

PGH Halal Truck, which offers gyros, pitas, salads, rice dishes, hummus and baklava, alerted the public to the stolen food truck on Sunday morning. According to a post on its Facebook page, the truck was stolen from a West Mifflin parking lot sometime on Saturday.

Not even two hours later, the Facebook page posted that the truck had been found just 10 minutes away -- but the keys were missing.

Channel 11 reached out to the food truck and West Mifflin police about the incident.

It’s unclear if there are any suspects in the case, or if anything else was taken out of the food truck.
