One neighbor believes someone couldn’t get into his car, so they tried to break through the front window of his home. Luckily, the window glass was double pane.

Neighbors said they heard a loud crashing sound and when they came outside, whoever did this was gone.

In all, about a half dozen cars were rummaged through. Some people had items taken from their cars.

Pittsburgh Police are working to talk with car owners and take incident reports.
