Several roads in Pittsburgh reopened Sunday following a week of being closed due to major landslides in the area.
Route 60, along with the northbound Route 19/51 ramp to Route 837 at the West End Circle reopened to traffic Sunday.
A section of the road where South Main Street intersects with the ramp from Route 19/51 to Carson Street was closed for a week due to the massive landslide.
PennDOT and city workers removed a lot of debris prior to reopening the roadway following the landslide.
According to a release from city officials, ramps from Route 51 to West Carson Street and the West End Bridge reopened to traffic on Saturday -- nearly one week after landslides last Sunday forced the closures.

The adjacent street in Duquesne Heights and West End neighborhoods also were closed this past week due to the landslide, including the most devastating one on Greenleaf Street.
The slide first began on Greenleaf Street, and city officials said that road remains closed as crews continue to “regrade the slope as a protection against future slides.”
Portions of Forward Avenue and Commercial Street in Squirrel Hill and Swisshelm Park also remained closed after a landslide caused a tree to lean on electrical wires.
