Suspect's fiancee defends him against murder charges

PITTSBURGH — New information was released Tuesday in a case against a man accused of killing a woman on a McKeesport street.

Police say she was caught up in a retaliation shooting.

All charges were held for court against Daniel Bizzelle on Tuesday.

"I am five months pregnant, about to find out what I am about to have, and he's not here," Arieal Turner, Bizzelle's fiancee, told only Channel 11.

She's standing by him as he faces murder charges for something she claims he didn't do.

"It's pretty much bull crap, everything is hearsay, you can't go off what someone is saying," Turner said.

Police say Bizelle pulled the trigger in the murder of Samantha Klavora, 23, because he was attempting to kill another man, who testified in court, "I'm sitting there and heard someone coming up the steps and he started shooting. She stepped in front of me and started screaming. She got hit and fell on top of me."

"The point is, there's simply no motive and it's not our job to establish a motive," defense attorney Blaine Jones said. "Don't get me wrong, we feel for the young lady who was tragically taken, but Mr. Bizzelle did not do this."

Bizzelle will be back in court next month.
