Third eaglet of 2022 hatches in Hays bald eagle nest

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Hays’ bald eagles welcomed their third eaglet of 2022 Friday morning!

All three eggs have now hatched. This makes the 18th eaglet that the bald eagles have hatched since 2013, and the third time that three eggs have hatched in the nest in one season.
