This thrift store is selling new wedding dresses for $200 or less this weekend

MONESSEN, Pa. — Attention brides! Are you looking for the perfect dress but don’t want to break the bank? Then you’ll want to check out a Monessen thrift store this weekend.

The St. Vincent De Paul Society Thrift Store in Monessen along Grand Boulevard is having a “Say ‘Yes’ to the Dress” sale Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Bella Sposa Bridal Prom and Tux, located in Washington, donated more than 130 wedding, bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride, flower girl dresses and more to the thrift store, according to our news partners at TribLIVE.com.

The bridal shop donated the inventory to make room for new merchandise. All the dresses are new, but they have been discontinued or are from previous seasons.

The dresses were originally priced over $800 but will now be sold for cash only, and for $200 or less. Sizes range from 4 to 24.

The thrift shop will limit people according to COVID-19 orders. Brides can bring two people.
