BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A bear broke into an unlocked car and accidentally put it into neutral, causing the vehicle to coast 100 feet down a hill, deputies said.
"The bear worked on digging out through all (four) doors, but apparently butt-shifted the car into neutral," the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook.
The car hit a tree and was totaled, but in the process, a door popped open, allowing the bear to escape in an unknown direction, investigators said.
