Florida man brings daughter to meet prostitute ‘for research'

A Florida man has been sentenced and fined after bringing his 6-year-old daughter with him to meet a prostitute “for research,” police said.

Jean Rolex Fleurine, 32, of North Miami, texted a woman to meet for sex, which he agreed to pay for. However, it was really an undercover cop, SFGate.com reported.

While texting about the appointment, he asked if it was OK to bring his daughter, writing “She won’t know what’s going on,” SF Gate reported.

When Fleurine arrived, he told his daughter to sit on the hotel bed, turned on “Family Feud” and put the volume up, according to SF Gate.

He went into the bathroom, hoping to have sex with the woman, but instead was arrested, according to police.

During trial, Fleurine said he was conducting research on the sex industry, the district attorney’s office said.

Fleurine was sentenced to 90 days in jail for prostitution and fined $1,000 for bringing his daughter with him.
