AUSTALL, Ga. — Just call them Kiss Flags Over Georgia.
The Six Flags park in Austell, along with six other parks in the corporate chain, set a new Guinness World Record for couples kissing under the mistletoe. The smoochy event Saturday drew 839 couples coast to coast.
"For the second year in a row at our park, hundreds of guests were a part of this world record and created a lifelong memory by kissing their loved one under the mistletoe during Holiday in the Park, which is a tradition in Atlanta," Six Flags Over Georgia Park President Dale Kaetzel said in a statement.

The results were verified by Guinness judge Christina Conlon.
"Six Flags really outdid itself this year," she said in a statement.
