According to New Era Cap, the company behind the new hats, it is “inspired by their home city” and features a guitar, the area code and an outline of Ohio. It’s part of a new line of hats tailored to the home city of each MLB team.
The hat for the Pittsburgh Pirates includes a steel beam and ‘YINZER’ on it.
