Pittsburgh Steeler Cam Heyward donates cleats in honor of Tree of Life shooting victims

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward donated a pair of game-worn cleats in honor of the victims of the Tree of Life synagogue shooting.

Called “My Cause, My Cleats,” the Steelers, along with other NFL players, are given a week out of the season in which they can wear personalized cleats representing an organization or issue they feel is important. Heyward’s cleats were designed by Cody Sabol, a nationally-renowned speed painter from Pittsburgh.

Fans will have the chance to win the cleats in an online raffle that runs from now until Nov. 23.
